Our Story
Established in 1928 by Clarence Smith, Sr., Diamond Steel has evolved over the years under the leadership of President Dave Collins into a distinguished firm specializing in a wide range of services including steel erection, “in-plant” maintenance, crane and industrial equipment rentals, and industrial hauling. While our primary focus remains in Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties in Ohio, Diamond Steel extends its expertise to Western PA, Northern West Virginia, and occasionally serves clients in Cleveland and Toledo.
Our experienced crews excel in erecting structural steel, facilitating building or plant repairs, installing overhead cranes, and managing concrete reinforcement assignments with precision and skill. Boasting a fleet of over 35 cranes, Diamond Steel is equipped with the necessary machinery and personnel to tackle almost any lifting job with efficiency and proficiency.
Furthermore, Diamond Steel is proud to be a signatory to various AFL-CIO national maintenance agreements, including those with Ironworkers, Operating Engineers, Teamsters, and Boilermakers, ensuring our commitment to quality and compliance with industry standards.
